How to Get Gili Air
Gili Air is reached by boat from mainland Lombok. The most comfortable option for private groups is a speedboat from Teluk Nare (or nearby west-coast hubs), with public boats also operating via Bangsal.
- From Senggigi / Mataram / airport, transfer by car to Teluk Nare or Bangsal, then boat to Gili Air (crossing typically under an hour depending on sea conditions).
- From Gili Trawangan or Gili Meno, hop by local boat or private charter between the three islands.
- Share hotel pickup details — we arrange land + boat so you avoid ticket queues at Bangsal.
- Boats can be weather-dependent in rough seas; flexible timing helps.

Location
Gili Air is the easternmost of Lombok’s three northwest Gilis, closest to the mainland. There are no cars or scooters on the island — only bicycles and horse carts — which keeps the pace relaxed.
