How to Get Mount Rinjani
Most trekkers enter via Senaru (north) or Sembalun (east). Non-trekkers often visit viewpoints and waterfalls with a private car from Senggigi, Mataram, or after a Gili boat arrival.
- Book licensed guides/porters for multi-day treks — quotas and weather rules apply.
- From the Gilis, boat to Bangsal / Teluk Nare then drive to Senaru (allow several hours).
- Share fitness level and dates early — summit windows are seasonal and can fill up.
