Selong Belanak Beach is a long, gentle bay west of Kuta Lombok — famous for beginner-friendly surf, wide sand, and a relaxed village-beach feel with fishing boats and buffalo sometimes roaming near the shore.
It is ideal for families and first-time surfers who want softer waves than Seger or Desert Point. Easy to combine with Mawun or a private south-coast day.

How to Get Selong Belanak Beach
Selong Belanak is roughly 30–45 minutes by private car west of Kuta Lombok, depending on traffic and hotel location.
- From the airport or Mataram, drive via the south-coast road network — we pick the smoothest route.
- From the Gilis, boat to the mainland then continue south/west by car.
- Surf schools and board rental are often available on the beach; ask us to include gear if needed.
